This View shows the organisations and their ‘key people’ only.

By ‘Key People’ we mean those individuals who were named when we asked ‘whose support is key to you as you deliver your work?’

When we look at this subnetwork by itself there is a clear pattern of 4 distinct hubs of relationships, only loosely connected together. We were able to validate this with other Views that contributed to our understanding of how and why these organisation clusters were specific loci of activity.

The map indicates where to build connections between these hubs to stop energy and resources dropping off unnecessarily,.

Looking at community groups who’ve been working for more than 5 years

We can also look at which are new.

There is a chain of connectivity here between a few of the older community groups, fed by data on who works with who and views them as key to their work.

For community building purposes we might:

  • Introduce new community groups to this established group.

  • Introduce all the floating community groups into the main connection chain to build up density there.

Useful community knowledge here. We can organise Views of organisations and people around provision types. For the purposes of explaining, we have chosen Cycling and Football to see which organisations are providing both

Organisational connectivity is a very illuminating View for this community: there are many organisations not connected into the main cluster, which indicates that relationship building is needed.
